Always one of my favorite families to photograph! I still can't believe how many milestone's I have captured of this little group over the years. The connection we all share makes our sessions more and more meaningful each time and that makes my heart so happy.

And honestly, whether it be a relationship we have cultivated over the years or a consultation where we've simply gotten to know each other, establishing a connection always comes first and foremost when I’m creating a session for someone. I need you to know that I am here for you and I see you. I am invested in your story and I want to tell it through my photographs to the best of my ability. It's never about just capturing pretty photos where everything is perfectly in place. It's about giving you the space and permission to be yourself in whichever way you wish to express it. I may direct you towards beautiful lighting and scenic backgrounds, but that is just to enhance what is already before me.

Somehow we organically highlight different aspects of importance in Andrea’s family when she steps in front of my camera and it’s beautiful to see the succession. It’s always an honor when she asks me to be the one to document her life and I always hope it’s not the last time either.

I love a good action packed family session that has snuggles, cuddles, and kisses throughout. As seen by the GIFs peppered in this post, there was no shortage of any of those wonderful elements!
